Fifteen Designs

Christi DeGeare has always had a fascination with paper crafts. While living on a military base in Germany over 25 years ago, she started making her own greeting cards to save on expenses. Still on a military budget when they moved to Kentucky, she came across a paper/craft company called Stampin' Up! and began using their materials to make scrapbooks, cards and hang tags. So why after 25 years of crafting as a hobby did this mom of 2 decide to start Fifteen Designs?

It started about a year ago when her husband, Jay DeGeare, attended an event in Tampa Bay and heard the founder of Starting Right, Now, Vicki Sokolik, speak. 

Starting Right, Now is a nonprofit in the Tampa Bay area dedicated to helping homeless high school students overcome adversity and succeed.  Touched by the testimonials, Christi decided to take action and get involved.  She started by mentoring a student but wanted to do more. Starting Right, Now does not receive state funding and is completely funded by donations. Christi’s Gift Tags had become quite popular in St. Petersburg, and she realized there may be an opportunity to turn her passion into a business and donate her profits back to Starting Right, Now!   

Inspired Elements and Co is beyond excited to help launch Fifteen Designs mission and offer a variety of Gift Tags.
